Let's take a closer look at these two devices. Although the functions of electric ball valve and solenoid valve are almost the same, their action mechanism is very different. The so-called electric ball valve mainly refers to that the valve body is in the shape of ball head and the motor is used as the driving source. The follow-up mechanism drives the opening or closing of the valve body through the positive and negative rotation of the motor. How to judge whether the valve body is fully open or closed depends on the travel switch (microswitch) or housing displacement sensor. The solenoid valve is built in the classic form, and its driver is a solenoid coil.
The electromagnet (mostly conical) is pulled and released by energizing or de energizing the electromagnetic coil to meet the action requirements of opening / closing. Obviously, compared with the action process of electric ball valve, the action of solenoid valve has only two states of on and off, and there is no intermediate process.

In view of the different research on the action development mechanism of the above two treatment devices, the electric ball valve is suitable for working and learning environments with large flow and high pressure, such as China's industrial drainage and irrigation management system; Oil filling system and other service occasions. Since the closing of solenoid valve only depends on its internal reaction spring (as shown in Figure 3), it is generally mainly used in low-voltage network systems below 1MPa. In addition, the solenoid valve is only in the limit motion state by two methods: on and off, so it is mostly used in civil occasions, such as the water make-up and drainage solenoid valve in household automatic washing machine; Solar water supply solenoid valve, etc. In addition, due to the complex structure of electric ball valve and the need to control according to the auxiliary design circuit of peripheral equipment, its price level is much higher than that of solenoid valve, and its use in civil occasions is also limited by intangible assets.
Whether solenoid valve or electric ball valve, it can be divided into AC type and DC type according to the type of power supply.
Finally, it is pointed out that the current industrial control system adopts PID electric ball valve for the accurate control of liquid flow. Its working principle is to use the characteristics of ordinary electric ball valve with intermediate action process, and use electronic circuit (in the form of single chip microcomputer) to control the movement of motor, that is, to control the opening / closing degree of valve body.
